DESCRIPTION:A powerful night of praise\, prayer\, prophetic encouragement and community partnership as we stand together for this generation \n\n\n\n\nThere are moments when a community must gather \nNot just to talk\nNot just to watch\nNot just to hope someone else will respond \nBut to stand together \nNation of Praise: Take Back Our Youth is a night of praise\, prayer\, prophetic encouragement and honest conversation\, calling churches\, families\, youth leaders\, community organisations\, intercessors\, creatives\, mentors and people of goodwill to unite around one shared burden: \nOur community. Our children. Our future. \nAcross our communities\, many are concerned about what we are seeing and feeling among young people: anti-social behaviour\, unrest\, fear\, loss of direction\, trauma\, family pressure\, hopelessness and a generation searching for identity\, belonging and purpose. \nWe believe this is not a time to stand back \nIt is a time to pray\nIt is a time to gather\nIt is a time to partner\nIt is a time to stand in the gap \nThe scripture at the heart of this gathering is: \n“The kingdom of heaven suffers violence\, and the violent take it by force.”\nMatthew 11:12 \nFor us\, this is not a call to physical aggression. This is a call to spiritual urgency\, prayer\, fasting\, love and action. \nWe are not fighting young people \nWe are fighting for them \nWhat to ExpectThis will be a powerful and purposeful evening including: \n\nPraise and worship\nPrayer for young people\, families and communities\nProphetic encouragement\nTestimony and hope-filled moments\nAn interactive youth and community leaders panel\nA call to prayer\, fasting\, mentoring and partnership\nOpportunities to connect with others who care about this generation\n\nThis is not just another event. \nThis is a gathering point for people who believe our young people are worth fighting for\, praying for\, loving\, mentoring\, protecting and building with. \nWho Should Attend?This event is for: \n\nYoung people\nParents and carers\nChurch leaders\nYouth leaders\nCommunity leaders\nTeachers and school staff\nMentors and volunteers\nIntercessors and prayer teams\nCreatives and worshippers\nOrganisations working with young people and families\nAnyone who carries a burden for the next generation\n\nWhether you are a pastor\, parent\, youth worker\, mentor\, community leader\, believer\, volunteer or someone who simply cares\, there is a place for you in the room. \nWhy This MattersOur young people do not belong to fear \nThey do not belong to violence \nThey do not belong to hopelessness \nThey do not belong to destructive cycles \nThey are sons\, daughters\, leaders\, creatives\, builders\, future parents\, future ministers\, future entrepreneurs and future change makers \nBut they need us \nThey need prayer\nThey need presence\nThey need love\nThey need protection\nThey need mentoring\nThey need open doors.\nThey need a future worth walking towards \nThis is how we take them back \nTogether \nA Call for PartnershipWe are inviting churches\, organisations\, community groups\, youth workers\, schools\, parents\, intercessors and leaders to stand with us. \nPartnership may look like: \n\nAttending with your church\, youth group or organisation\nPraying and fasting in the lead up to the event\nSharing the event with your network\nBringing young people\, parents and families\nVolunteering on the night\nSupporting aftercare and follow-up\nJoining future conversations around mentoring\, family support and youth engagement\n\nThis night is the beginning of a wider response \nWe believe something powerful can happen when the Church and community come together with one heart\, one voice and one burden. \nOur DeclarationWe will not write off this generation \nWe will not stand back in silence \nWe will not allow fear to have the final word \nWe will pray \nWe will praise \nWe will stand \nWe will build \nWe will take responsibility \nOur community\, Our children\, Our future \nTogether\, we win \nSpaces are limited\, so please register your place and invite someone who needs to be in the room. \nBring your faith.
